
Michelle Gerdtz
General Manager
Michelle is a widely experienced, highly capable and motivated executive leader with demonstrated capabilities in strategic planning, transformational leadership, stakeholder engagement and project management.
Michelle has a passion for sport and has worked in various paid and voluntary roles across her career including Netball Victoria for six years in the role of General Manager, High Performance and Commercial and was part of the leadership team for the Australian Masters Games held in Geelong in 2013. Michelle has also worked with the Department of Justice and Community Safety in contract management and stakeholder engagement roles.
Michelle is the current Chairperson of AFL Barwon and was appointed to the Commission in 2016.

Robin Walker
Program & Education Coordinator
With over two decades of professional experience and community engagement, Robin is a highly motivated and proactive facilitator and coordinator with experience across a range of industries including mental health, training and development, and finance.
Robin is currently completing further education in psychology with Deakin University.
Robin has a passion for sports and getting involved at a grassroots level and has held a range of volunteering and coaching roles in both committee and club for several years and continues to volunteer where possible.
Robin, husband Dale and three kids are all involved in many local community sports in the Geelong Region with Robin’s highest achievement competing at the 2022 Australian Pan Pacific Masters Games.
