About The Read the Play Presentation

What to expect:

Read the Play aims to deliver the mental health and wellbeing to more than 1,500 young people (12-18 years) in sporting clubs by December 2024.
One of these young people might be your child.

We want to equip parents, caregivers and club personnel with the knowledge and skills about all aspects of mental health and wellbeing.

During the presentation, Read the Play will present on program content and the charity.  Barwon Health will then present on mental health and wellbeing, signs and symptoms in young people and how you can support your child, including the resources available in the region.

Child Psychologist and Read the Play Patron Dr Michael Carr-Gregg will then join as key-note speaker.  There will be opportunities for questions following this presentation.

Please note:

  • Seating is General Admission. As there is NO allocated seating for this event, please ensure to arrive together if you wish to sit together.
  • The presentation is intended for an adult audience and children are not encouraged to attend.
