You’re a vital cog in the support network.

Have you heard that Read the Play is coming to your child’s sporting club and you’re wondering what we’re about? Our interactive games-based program is all about equipping kids to better understand mental health issues and know where to get help when needed.

We introduce and work with a volunteer Player Wellbeing Officer (PWO) at your club. The PWO remains long after our session’s done to provide an ongoing, club-based resource for kids and parents. We don’t lecture, treat or prescribe – we empower. We know that families are the most important cog in the support network. We’re here to help you, too.

We’ve helped more than 20,000 young participants … so far.

We’re all about empowerment, giving people the tools needed to better manage everyday challenges around mental health. We reach kids where they gather – the “community campfires” of sporting clubs. We provide resources on the ground and online to help young people, families and sports groups to support each other and seek help when needed. Need to know more?
